What is Orton Gillingham?
We use the Orton-Gillingham philosophy to guide our intervention sessions. Orton-Gillingham is a structured multi-sensory approach to literacy instruction, that breaks reading and spelling down into smaller more manageable skills involving letters and sounds and then builds on these skills in a strategic structured way.
Reading and Writing Intervention
Individually tailored intervention sessions to strategically target deficits and holes in an effort to strengthen a child's reading ability and confidence.
Dyslexia Screening
A series of standardized reading assessments given to determine if your child's reading challenges are related to Dyslexia.
Spelling Intervention
Targeted intervention to strengthen knowledge of spelling rules, and a greater understanding of how and when to apply those rules and research-based strategies to help spell irregularly spelled words.

Dyslexia or Full Educational Testing
Formalized testing given to create a comprehensive academic profile of your child's specific strengths and areas of concern to help guide instruction, and determine if a diagnosis and intervention is recommended.
